Interior Design Professional

I am a formally trained interior designer. I studied decoration and residential design at KLC School of Design in Chelsea Harbour and commercial interior design studies at Chelsea College of Art & Design.  

I am an associate member of the BIID (British Institue of Interior Designers) - see charming logo bottom left.

Passionate

I am extremely passionate about how our environment impacts our lives.  I believe spaces should be inspiring and should help out in the wonderful but undeniably hectic world we live in.  

Decoration has a major role to play.  I like them to motivate me to be in the right mood for the space I'm in.  So calm for bathrooms and bedrooms, warm for living rooms, exciting for dining rooms (and bedrooms...)

I'm also passionate about decorative style reflecting our cultures, our travels and our aspirations.  I've been to over 45 countries and been known to re-decorate hotels while staying in them.

Creative

Creative thinkers are my heroes.   I wasn't born a Dali so as a teenager I made a decision to become creative.  I studied art, craft, photography, writing, design, and then moved on to some creative sciences such as NLP.  I produced art books so I could 'work with' the great paintings and worked in top advertising agencies in London and New York certainly not because the pay was good but the creative thinking was addictive.

Efficient, organised, un-flappable

Advertising also gave me excellent project management skills and the ability to smoothly handle clients’ needs, suppliers, budgets and timelines.

My focus today is to create delicious homes and ingenious working environments designed to meet your unique needs, life and style. And I do so always with your well-being in mind, for the duration of the work and for your ongoing enjoyment once the project is completed.
